In the face of mounting regional competition and following the realignment that eliminated shared governance between Indiana University and Purdue University, the newly-established Purdue University Fort Wayne required a strong marketing strategy and unified brand expression to drive awareness, applicant interest and recognition within Fort Wayne and beyond.
How We Won the Heart
Although a newly-formed institution, Purdue University Fort Wayne possessed a distinct personality and character that simply needed to come to life through a unified brand. With a metropolitan backdrop, committed full-time faculty and more than 200 meaningful academic programs, Purdue Fort Wayne is wholly dedicated to empowering the lives of its students.
These characteristics are on full display in the new Purdue Fort Wayne brand. Leveraging the sterling reputation of the Purdue name and the personality of Fort Wayne, the new brand was brought to life through the With Purpose campaign. Featuring current undergraduate students and faculty, the campaign paired motivating headlines with a versatile tagline lockup that emphasizes Purdue Fort Wayne’s purposeful approach to teaching and learning.
